第84回日本遺伝学会年会（福岡）におきまして、班員の高橋文さん（首都大学東京）が奨励賞を受賞されました（『ショウジョウバエにおける進化遺伝学研究』）。高橋さんのご研究の着眼点である「種分化初期（種分化がまさに進みつつあるところ）の遺伝的変異」に関してショウジョウバエ野外集団を用いて長年解析されてきた成果が評価されたものです。
